Who’s Behind the Lens?

My name is Craig Bretton. I am a New England native currently living in Florida. My photos capture life on earth, the machines that leave it, and the space beyond.

Living in Florida provides me the opportunity to photograph rockets launching from Cape Canaveral. To be able to capture this feat of human ingenuity is special to me. It is even more special that I get to share the photos with people who don’t have the ability to witness it themselves.

Astrophotography is exactly what it sounds like, combining astronomy and photography. Whether it’s imaging galaxies or nebulae out in deep space or capturing objects a little closer to home in our own solar system, it all falls into astrophotography.
